In today's increasingly environmentally conscious world, sustainability guidelines for the operation of pipeline networks have become crucial. The Innovation Dialogue, which took place on September 25th on the premises of Aliaxis in Mannheim, offered a platform to discuss these important issues. The event dealt with a range of topics, including hygiene requirements of the new drinking water regulation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and the United Nations' 17th goal for sustainable development (SDG), all aimed at reducing the CO2 footprint.
The program offered several discussion points, including the circular economy in plastic piping systems, presented by Markus Hartmann, the Managing director of the German Plastic Piping Association KRV (Kunststoffrohrverband), and the concept of climate-resilient cities, introduced by Dieter Grau, Executive Partner from one of the world’s leading urban planning architectural firms Henning Larsen. There was also a discussion about innovations at Aliaxis, as well as a product training in several applications.
The organizers discussed possible solutions together with the participants and showed new approaches with products in connection technology.
The event is an important meeting point for professionals from the plastic pipeline industry who are interested in developing more sustainable practices in their field.
